  1. Would love to hear how this goes. Keep us posted!

    • Hey Jane,
I’ll definitely let you know. Mark and I have been working to create the “CLASSroom Project @ uga” – a bare bones attempt right now, at raising issues around working-class curriculum and content in K-8, classist practices and policies (even unknowingly adopted and unwitting, of course), how class operates in interpersonal communication and formative assessment, etc. We designed and offered a 2-course sequence this summer (Social Class and Poverty in Society and K-8 Education/Social Class and Formative Assessment) which was really well attended and received.

I was dreaming about contacting you and pulling together a class-focused panel for AERA next year but don’t know if I can pull myself together before the deadline. Do you have anything in the works?
